OVERVIEW

About the Program

“Power Play – Building Strong Teams” was a 2-day program carefully designed and delivered for the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO) office in Islamabad. The program focused on improving team-building skills and enhancing interpersonal communication skills for the ECHO employees leading to more effectiveness at the workplace.

How Do We Deliver?

Participants engaged in group activities, group discussions, assignments, role-plays, case studies, and practical examples, allowing them to enhance their team-building and communication skills.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

Program Outline

Day 1 - Team-Building

Understanding the importance of Goal Setting and Purpose through the Lost
at Sea simulated scenario
Inspiring creativity; fostering team building; and nurturing leadership, social
and interpersonal skills through the Tower Building Activity – A team-building
event to construct the tallest tower
Learning how to Respect the context, organizational purpose, and their own
word.

Day 2 - Communicating Effectively at Work

Understanding what is Effective Communication, Mindful Listening and
Speaking.
Learning how to manage and sequence different conversations to achieve
desired objectives at work
Learning how to have crucial conversations where stakes are high and
emotions run strong
