A Program Designed To Promote Wise & Compassionate Education
21 stories of kindness and calm to read with your child/students.
A book series “May You Be Happy, May You Be Safe” consists of 21 stories in which Freddie the Frog, Donnie the Dog, Leoni the Lion, Jenny the Giraffe, and Robbie the Rabbit teach core principles of wise and compassionate living – generosity, friendship, integrity, resilience, mindfulness, creative thinking, and lovingkindness. The stories anchor the qualities of heart through 7 simple, memorable ‘rallying cries’ which appear frequently through the stories. Through repetition, the children gradually learn these phrases by heart, and are more likely to reinforce them in their daily conversations.
The program includes a practical guide for parents and teachers for raising emotionally intelligent children.
Seven Anchor Phrases
The Life Clan has implemented the Freddie Program in Nordic International School, Lahore, Pakistan, which is currently being taught to 250 students from Preschool to Primary Years.
The program has been implemented in Nordic International School for the past two years and is incorporated with their regular curriculum and the DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Program. After implementing the Freddie program, the school has reported a positive change in children. They have noticed that the children are kinder, have stronger friendships, and are more compassionate towards people around them. This has led to the development of a strong value-based community, resulting in the school being shortlisted as a Finalist for two years in a row in the category “Community Award for Citizenship” for the GESS Awards 2021 & 2022.
